What You'll Learn
A security guard must know how to protect, but also how to welcome people, communicate and intervene professionally. The course covers:
- Reception and customer service: welcoming, directing and responding to requests while respecting your role as a guard.
- Communication and personality profiles: adapting your communication to different styles and personality types.
- Difficult interactions and de-escalation: recognizing signs of tension and using verbal and non-verbal strategies to prevent escalation.
- Professionalism and guard conduct: staying respectful, setting boundaries and giving clear instructions.
